What is animal healing?

Energy healing is a complementary practice based on the idea that the body has its own energy field, and that healing can happen by working with that field, alongside physical treatment rather than in place of it. We practise two forms: Reiki and Angelic healing. Both are channelled healing, meaning the energy doesn't come from us. We act as a channel for it to flow through, which is also why distant healing works just as well as an in-person session: the energy isn't limited by physical distance. We're certified in both, trained in person here in Singapore.

Reiki works to align and balance your pet's energy, which can support physical healing, ease stress and anxiety and help release emotional blockages, on a physical, emotional and spiritual level. Angelic healing works similarly, but calls on angelic energy to guide the process. Archangel Raphael, known as the angel of healing, is who we most often connect with during a session.

A session can be hands-on, hands-off (hands held just above your pet, useful if they're anxious around touch) or fully distant, where we work from a photo without your pet needing to be present at all. Right now, we only offer distant sessions. If you're in Singapore and would prefer an in-person session, get in touch and we'll see what we can arrange, with an additional fee.

When might a pet need it?

Energy healing tends to help most with stress and anxiety, though it can also support physical recovery by working alongside your vet's treatment. It's worth considering if your pet is:

• Preparing for surgery or recovering from one
• Showing signs of stress, like poor appetite, over-grooming or a gassy stomach
• Dealing with anxiety, fear or a behavioural issue
• Living with a chronic illness
• Grieving the loss of a companion animal or their human
• Going through a big change, like a move or a new routine
• Getting older, or nearing the end of their life
• Generally in need of some rest and emotional support, even without a specific issue

One last thing worth being upfront about: energy healing isn't a substitute for veterinary care, and we'll never suggest it as a replacement for a proper diagnosis or treatment. We see it as something that works well alongside your vet, not instead of them, and we'll always encourage you to see one if your pet needs it.
