Our story

How we started

Our journey began in 2016 when we realised that commercial toys for rabbits often contain harmful ingredients such as dyes, colourings, metal, staples, and glue. As loving pet owners ourselves, we were concerned about the potential health risks these toys posed to our furry friends, especially since rabbits have a natural tendency to chew and “eat” things.

In response, we began making our own toys for our bunnies, using safe and natural materials that we knew would be gentle on their tummies. We quickly discovered that our homemade toys were not only safe, but also fun and engaging for our pets, providing them with hours of entertainment and mental stimulation.

Today, we continue to make high-quality handmade toys for rabbits, using only the safest and most natural materials. We take pride in providing pet owners with a safe and healthy alternative to commercial toys, while also supporting the health and happiness of rabbits everywhere.

Commercial vs Handmade

Other than rabbit toys, we also make bunny-themed accessories for rabbit lovers! We have tote bags, drawstring bags, pouches, kitchen accessories, notebooks and more!

Where we’re going

In recent years, larger companies like Oxbow have introduced their own series of safe rabbit toys, leading to a decrease in demand for our handmade toys. However, we recognised that we could not compete with these bigger companies and decided to shift our focus towards our customised items such as pins, portraits, and illustrations.

We’ve also recently launched our forage herbs blends, specially designed and hand-mixed for every bunny’s needs. Including herbs to stimulate appetite, digestive support, immune support and for dental health.

To increase our brand awareness, we started creating funny illustrations and comics on our Instagram page, which have been well-received by the rabbit owner community. We are thrilled to see that so many people share our thoughts and passion.

Looking forward to 2023, we aim to expand our services for the animals. We have been practising energy healing for some time now, mostly with our own family and pets. We believe that energy healing has helped to improve our pets’ health in complement to their veterinary care, and we are excited to explore ways to incorporate this into our business to support the well-being of animals.

Energy healing is a form of complementary and alternative medicine that is based on the concept that the body has its own energy field that can be manipulated to promote healing. While traditional medicine focuses on treating the physical symptoms of disease, energy healing seeks to address the underlying energetic imbalances that may be contributing to illness.

There are many different types of energy healing, each with its own unique techniques and philosophies. The ones we practise are Reiki and Angelic healing.

In the past, many people were skeptical about the effectiveness of energy healing, but as more and more people have experienced its benefits, it has gained acceptance and popularity. Research has shown that energy healing can be effective in reducing pain, anxiety, and other symptoms, and may even promote faster healing and recovery after surgery or illness.

Fundraising

We believe in giving back to the community, especially when it comes to helping animals in need. That’s why we partner up with local rescue groups for fundraising once in a while, with all funds going towards rescue, education, rehoming, and more.

We are proud to participate in such a meaningful cause, knowing that every little bit helps to make a difference in the lives of animals who are in need of love, care, and shelter. By partnering with local rescue groups, we are able to support the important work that they do, while also raising awareness about the issues facing animals in our community.

If you have an idea for a fundraising event or would like to partner with us in some other way, we would be glad to hear from you! Together, we can make a positive impact in the lives of animals and help to create a more compassionate world for all beings.
